About the plant
AO "Vyazemsky Plant of Synthetic Products" offers various additives for the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical, polymer, mining, textile industries, that improve the quality of end products, optimize production processes and are used as stabilizers, emulsifiers, plasticizers, antistatic agents and lubricants. The products are manufactured under "Rusoleochem" trademark.
COMPANY MISSION
- Creation and development of competitive domestic production.
- Import substitution of chemical products.
- Creation of the material and technical base for the growth of employment in the region, the development of the chemical industry.

Our products are based on esters and waxes of natural fatty acids and alcohols derived from vegetable oils and animal fat.
The most common by scope and volume of use is glycerol monostearate. (clickable name for the product in the catalog).
Modern technological equipment of the plant allows for complex chemical synthesis processes in a wide temperature range using vacuum.

Products are packaged in containers that are convenient for storage and transportation: polypropylene bags with a polyethylene insert, big bags, corrugated packaging, barrels, cubes.
In the premises of the warehouse buildings, the microclimate is provided for, provided for by the requirements of regulatory documents for raw materials and finished products.

From 29 October to 1 November 2018, Moscow hosted the 21st international exhibition Chemistry 2018. The Centre for the Support of Exports of Smolensk Oblast, https://export67.com, helped us participate in this major industry event by co-financing most of the expenses we incurred in setting up our booth.

Inclusion in the Unified Register of Small and Medium Enterprises
On 10 July 2017, JSC Vyazemsky Plant of Synthetic Products was included in the National Registry of Small and Medium Sized Businesses. In October 2017, the company expanded its product range by adding products such as: 2-ethylhexyl stearate, Glyceryl cocoate, Glyceryl stearate citrate, Glyceryl stearate PEG-100 stearate, Sorbitan stearate, and Pentaerythryl distearate.

Order No. 147 of the Ministry of Food Industry of the USSR
The Ministry of Food Industry of the USSR issued Order No. 147 dated 11 August 1972 on the Five Year Plan for the Comprehensive Development of Industry and Urban Utilities in Moscow for 1971-1975, which included the relocation of the Complex Ethers manufacturing facility outside of Moscow, with some of the product manufacture being moved to the Vyazemsky Plant of Synthetic Products.

Based on Order No. 168 issued by the Ministry of Food Industry dated 4 August 1971, the Vyazemsky Plant of Synthetic Scented Substances and Cosmetic Semi-Finished Products was renamed the Vyazemsky Plant of Synthetic Products.

Reconstruction of the workshop for the production of detergents - liquid toilet soap and shampoo "Lada"
The washing detergent production shop was renovated; the shop produced soap and shampoo under the Lada brand. Sales increased 5-fold and the number of personnel increased 4-fold.

The facility began to produce hydroprite and opened the corresponding production shop.

Construction of production building No. 3 for an annual capacity of 1150 tons
saw the start of the construction of production shop No. 3, with an annual capacity of 1,150 tonnes. The shop was designed to make two prodcuts: 900 tonnes of plastibol and 250 tonnes of lanolin.

Vyazemsky plant of synthetic aromatic substances and cosmetic intermediates
On 9 February 1966, the Vyazemsky Plant of Synthetic Scented Substances and Cosmetic Semi-Finished Products was set up on the site of a mothballed oil mill. In the first year of operation, the company only made herbal hair dyes Henna and Basma.

Order MPP USSR No. 17 dated 12/09/1965
On the basis of Order No. 17 issued by the Ministry of Food Industry of the USSR 9 December 1965, the former oil mill was handed over to the Soviet National Association of Perfume, Cosmetics, Ethers and Oil Industry as part of an intra-department redistribution of industrial facilities.

Equipment conservation
After the war, women and children bore the brunt of the efforts to rebuild the production facility. Nobody complained about being tired or other problems. Even though people were working practically without pay, everyone made every effort to make sure the facility continued to produce vegetable oils. In 1961, the equipment, buildings, structures and utilities were temporarily mothballed.

The plant has expanded significantly, it already employed about 600 people
The oil mill was nationalised, the production shops that had once been stopped were being brought back into operation, new warehousing facilities were constructed, a railway line was laid directly up to the site, and indoor plumbing and running water were installed in the facility. The facility expanded significantly, employing around 600 people. By 1925, the production rate reached the pre-civil war level.

The first mention of our company
The first mentions of our company appeared in 1893. Founded by the Lyutovys merchant family in the village of Krapivnya, situated 2 km from Vyazma, the plant was an oil mill and one of the largest manufacturing companies in the region. In the first year of operation, it employed 36 workers, operated a 45-hp steam engine, 4 presses and didn't have any automation.
